Amanda Batula and West Wilson are embracing an entirely new season in their lives.
The Summer House costars—who've been the subject of relationship rumors in recent weeks—confirmed they're dating in a March 31 message posted to their respective Instagram accounts.
"It was never our intention to purposely hide anything," the statement, addressing their "very new" romance, read. "Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."
"We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years," they noted, "through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
Amanda and West went on to note that as their "feelings evolved," they "wanted to take time to understand exactly what" they were experiencing.
"We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless," the pair added. "We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this."
The new fling between the costars comes after Amanda's BFF Ciara Miller went through a messy breakup from West in 2023. Not to mention, Amanda recently announced in January that she and estranged husband Kyle Cooke had broken up after four years of ups and downs in their marriage.
Their romance also comes as Summer House's midseason trailer for season 10 teased West hoping to rekindle his relationship with Ciara. Meanwhile, fans also saw Amanda and Kyle's marriage hit a tipping point after the exes had a major fight.
And that's not all as Amanda and West's costars have already chimed in to the conversation surrounding the romance. Indeed, Kyle himself seemingly addressed the news by sharing a photo with Ciara on social media March 30, writing, "Instagram vs. Reality."

April 17, 2026: Ciara Miller Breaks Her Silence
Nearly three weeks after West and Amanda went public, Ciara addressed the scandal head-on for the first time.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” Ciara told Glamour in an interview published April 17. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It’s a major mindf--k."
The 30-year-old explained that she "definitely" felt closer to Amanda before the scandal, but noted that she and West "were working on our relationship." And that closeness to Amanda is why she felt more betrayed by her than by West.
"At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy," Ciara said. "Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man. But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part."
