Yo ho, yo ho, Orlando Bloom is officially seeing someone new.
One year after the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and Katy Perry called off their engagement, he confirmed his romance with Swiss model Luisa Laemmel during a romantic walk in Italy.
During the July 26 Forte dei Marmi outing, Bloom kept it very casual in a pair of black cargo shorts and a white T-shirt. The 49-year-old—dad to Flynn, 15, with ex Miranda Kerr as well as Daisy Dove, 5, with Perry—also maintained an extremely low profile with the help of a black baseball cap and aviator shades.
Laemmel, meanwhile, opted for a black and white polka dot skirt and a plain black tank top. The 28-year-old also topped her blonde hair that hung naturally behind her shoulders with a navy cap.
The couple appeared in their own world, holding each other’s hands tightly as they made their way down the street in the Italian seaside town.
Bloom and Laemmel’s outing comes months after the duo first sparked romance rumors when they left the Super Bowl 2026 side-by-side. At the time, the couple walked out of Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., arm-in-arm.
Meanwhile, Bloom’s romance with Laemmel marks his first since his split with Perry was confirmed last July.
"I'm great," Bloom assured during an appearance on Today in September when asked about ending the nearly 10-year romance. “I'm so grateful. We've got a beautiful daughter. When you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it.”
And while he couldn’t speak for Perry, The Lord of the Rings actor assured on his end it was “nothing but love.”
For Perry’s part, she has seemingly been living out a teenage dream with boyfriend Justin Trudeau since the couple first stepped out together late last summer.
“I am very in love,” Perry mused at the NYC premiere of her Lifetimes tour film last month. I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite. I fly super high and like, you know, touch the veil, cosmos, and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
