Kylie Jenner's Former Assistant Victoria Villarroel Reveals Moment She Knew She Had to Quit

“And I was like, ‘Oof, who's gonna get that?’” Victoria laughed. “'I don't want to go get your laptop.’”

It was then that she and Kylie realized it was time for Victoria to move on to a new endeavor. And Victoria is grateful for how kind Kylie was throughout the entire process.

“She was amazing. I remember being so nervous and thinking, like, ‘Am I making the right decision? What if I'm leaving the best thing—best job I could ever have?’” Victoria said. “'Cause people were in my ear being like, ‘You're gonna leave? People would die for this job.’”

But as Kylie, 28, told her, “’Oh my god, Vic, I want you to thrive, and I'm gonna be here supporting you. And I love you so much.’”

Before taking on the role as Kylie’s assistant, Victoria had been an intern at Teen Vogue and later joined Kris Jenner’s Jenner Communications as an office manager, which led to her job with Kylie.

And while she was originally assistant to both Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner, Victoria admitted on the podcast that “it became too difficult to do both of them at the same time.”

At the time, Kylie was launching Kylie Cosmetics, so it made sense for Victoria to continue on with her, especially because she had more of “a creative role” on top of assistant duties.

Of course, she made sure not to leave Kendall in the lurch, joking she “gave Kendall” her sister Sofia Villarroel.

“I told Kendall, I was like, ‘Please don't hate me. I have a peace offering: my sister, my DNA,’” she laughed. “'Basically you get me, but you probably will like her more because she's way more like you.’”
