Neve Campbell had a royally innocent outing with Prince Harry.
After all, the Scream actress addressed rumors that she had previously spent a romantic evening with Harry, sharing what really went down when they crossed paths.
"It wasn't a date," Neve explained on the Feb. 14 episode of The Jonathan Ross Show. "I went to a friend's birthday party and someone said, 'There's Harry!' and I was like, 'Harry who?' 'Prince Harry.'"
The 52-year-old—who shares sons Caspian, 13, and Raynor, 8, with JJ Feild—subsequently struck up a conversation with the royal, now 41, at the costume party.
"He told me that he had a poster of me on his wall when he was a child, which I thought, 'That's a little awkward. How old?'" The Party of Five alum teased. "I don't know if that was a line, though. It could've been a line."
As for what did happen that evening with Harry?
"We had a dance," she added. "We had a nice time. We didn't exchange numbers or anything."
Harry—dad to kids Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, with wife Meghan Markle—even brought up Queen Elizabeth II during their conversation.
"He was really lovely," Neve emphasized. "He started talking about his grandmother, and we were chatting, and then I realized who he was talking about, and it was very odd."
Although that interaction didn't lead to her becoming the princess, she did find her own prince charming. And while Neve prefers to keep her personal life private, she has shared insight into their family of four.
"Raynor loves dance, and has taken some ballet classes already. He absolutely loves it," she told People in 2022. "Caspian, earlier on, had asked about ballet, as well, not even knowing that I had been a ballet dancer."
However, her eldest ultimately decided not to pursue the extracurricular activity.
"We did try, just for a minute, when we were in New York City, but it just took one bad teacher. It was like one teacher who was grumpy that day," Neve said. However, she added, "Inevitably, if someone has a passion for something and they are driven to do it, and they have to do it, you can't stop them."
