Kelsea Ballerini plans to sit in parks—silently.
After all, when the “I Sit in Parks” singer arrived at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where her album Patterns is nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album, she came with a new goal in mind.
"Right now, I'm back in my real life," she said to Zuri Hall during the E! Live From the Red Carpet. "I'm not writing. I'm just—I've always been a chronic oversharer. And I think for the first time, at 32, I'm reining it in."
"I think my life," Kelsea—who wore a custom gold Etro gown to the award show—mused, "might just be my life for awhile." (See every red carpet appearance here.)
The recommitment to privacy comes after she and boyfriend Chase Stokes confirmed on New Years that they'd gotten back together following their September breakup.
"Messy year for the heart, messy year for the outside coming in, messy year for the way it became an out of our hands portrayal of it," Kelsea wrote on her Instagram Stories Dec. 31. "But what i'll say, and all i really care to share indefinitely with my personal life anymore, is that i really love love."
She added, "I believe in it, i believe in him, and i believe in breaking patterns."
Accompanying the caption was an image of the Patterns artist and Chase holding each other in front of a sunset, with Kelsea concluding, “Go kiss your person and stop speculating."
Chase, meanwhile, shared the same image to his own account alongside a reflection of 2025’s biggest lessons.
"Something I've learned this year: don't take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting," the actor, who began dating Kelsea in early 2023, captioned his post. "Take accountability, learn from mistakes. Lean into love and say it often."
Looking to the next 365 days, he added that he saw 2026 as “my year of growth, my year of truth. Starting here, starting now. Happy new years.”
And with Kelsea nothing but smiles at the Grammys, it would appear their year together is already hitting the perfect note—one that could be made only better with a Grammy win.
She’s nominated in her category alongside fellow artists Tyler Childers, Eric Church, Jelly Roll and Miranda Lambert.
